Job Description

Faraday, a private investors' club focused on innovative startups and a Venture Capital fund manager, is looking for a Finance Intern to join our Finance Department.

The successful candidate will support the team in a variety of operational and financial tasks, including:

  • Invoicing

  • Accounting software management

  • Management control and financial reporting

  • Maintenance and development of the company's Extranet and App (including trades and new functionalities)

  • Regulatory reporting to the Spanish Securities Market Commission (CNMV), including XML reporting, and investor reporting

  • Depositary file management

  • Automation of operational and investment processes

  • Other finance and operations-related projects as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Final-year undergraduate student or recent graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Additional training in accounting, finance or technical disciplines will be considered an advantage.

  • Previous internship or placement experience in a similar role is desirable.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.

  • Knowledge of VBA (Excel macros).

  • Experience with Power BI is desirable.

Applicants must be based in Madrid, Spain.

  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Proactive, well-organised and able to communicate effectively.

  • A high level of English will be considered an advantage.

Terms & Conditions

Expected start date: Mid-July 2026

Duration: 6 months

Working Hours

From the start date until 31 August:

  • Part-time

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

From 1 September:

  • Full-time

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:15 p.m. (including a 1 hour 30 minute lunch break)

  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Remote working on Fridays may be available depending on departmental needs.

Compensation

  • €500 gross per month during the part-time period.

  • €1,000 gross per month once the full-time schedule begins.
