Summer Event: “Entrepreneurship, Portfolio Growth and the Ideas Shaping the Future”

We held our Summer Event 2026 at Ciudad de la Raqueta in Madrid, bringing together investors, Founders and Partners of the Faraday community for an afternoon focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and Venture Capital.

The event opened with a review of Faraday’s recent activity, highlighting key milestones, portfolio performance and the progress of Faraday Europa II, VCF as it approaches its final closing on 30 June.

One of the highlights of the event was an in-depth interview with Roc Viñas, Founder and CEO of Citring, Faraday Europa II’s latest investment. Roc shared the remarkable journey behind the development of Citring’s award-winning automatic juicer, a process that required more than five years of R&D, significant technical innovation and a strong commitment to building a new product category from scratch. The conversation explored the challenges of industrialization, intellectual property protection, international expansion and the company’s ambition to become the category leader in automated fresh juice preparation.

We also presented several portfolio companies, showcasing the diversity of Faraday’s investment strategy across both digital and industrial businesses, from AI-powered software platforms and hospitality technology to energy infrastructure and advanced manufacturing.

The second key session featured a conversation with entrepreneur, investor and author Jesús Úsar around his recently published novel, "Cambio de Rumbo". Drawing on his decades of experience as a Founder, Business Angel and Tech Executive, Jesús reflected on entrepreneurship, resilience, technological disruption and the societal implications of AI. The discussion explored themes such as the future of work, the increasing dependence on technology, the concentration of economic power and the opportunities that AI may create if deployed responsibly.

Beyond the book itself, the conversation delivered valuable lessons for both entrepreneurs and investors, reinforcing the importance of long-term thinking, adaptability and strong leadership teams as the primary drivers of value creation.

The event concluded with a networking cocktail, where we honoured the winners and finalisas of our padel tournament and several surprises for attendees, creating an informal environment for investors, Founders and Partners to connect and strengthen relationships across the Faraday ecosystem.
